Heart of the Sun

The name of this movie is Heart of the Sun released in 1998-08-30 and it's main theme is Depression era drama set in Alberta finds a farmer's wife who swears that her inability to have a child is a punishment from God. In fact, it is slowly revealed that her inability to have a child stems from an illicit relationship that she had with a local priest and a subsequent operation forced on her in a cover-up by the church and her family which left her infertile.
